Module 01 — Daily Walkaround
The pre-start inspection performed in full, in the order the checklist sets out, on a machine that had genuinely been left overnight on a working compound. Nothing was staged for the recording and two of the defects found were real.
The module runs sixteen minutes and ends with a short knowledge check. The check is not graded and can be repeated; it is there so that gaps surface before the practical rather than during it.
This module is mandatory at induction level and is re-taken at each renewal. Completion is recorded against your candidate number within one working day of the check being submitted.
